The Pharmacotherapy Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team. This one-year program will focus on applying and strengthening knowledge, skills, and abilities in the core outcome research areas. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Outcomes research project activities using hands on experience to include research methods and outcomes design; pharmacoepidemiology and risk management; retrospective large database analysis; health services research; evidence based medicine; drug information, pharmacoeconomics; formulary management, and medication utilization evaluation. * Communicate the final original research findings in a manuscript for a professional or scientific journal and/or final research findings oral presentation (poster or podium). * Teaching - Assist in deliver didactic lectures and grading in areas relevant to Social & Administrative Sciences; Facilitate team discussions and case conferences with pharmacy students; Develop and present educational programs to physicians, nurses, pharmacists and community organizations; Serve as a leader and role model and mentor for pharmacy students. * Explores new research areas or enhances knowledge in research field in collaboration with outcomes research lab faculty and other researchers.
