The University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy's Pharmacotherapy department seeks scientists for Outcomes Research Fellowship Program. The goal of the program is to provide comprehensive postgraduate training to prepare a clinician or researcher to design, initiate, conduct, and manage outcomes research. Through the training process, the researcher will learn skills to eventually work independently in the field of outcomes research. The fellowship will provide advanced training in research methods and experience in health services research as well as to prepare fellows for positions in academia, government, or private industry. The program includes advanced hands on work in relevant areas (research methods, research planning, conducting and monitoring outcomes-based project; and teaching) of research and teaching. The fellow will have the opportunity to assist in didactic teaching and grading in areas relevant to Social & Administrative Pharmaceutical Sciences. Program Outline: This one-year program will focus on applying and strengthening knowledge, skills, and abilities in the core outcome research areas. The position is for one year, renewable contingent on performance and availability of funding.
