The Office of Sponsored Programs, at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Grant Accounting Manager to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: *Responsible for the management and professional development of the Sponsored Research Accounting team. *Generate invoices and Letter of Credit Summaries for reimbursement of expense to the Institution. *Review and approve financial reports, invoices, journal entries and various requests prepared by members of the Sponsored Programs Accounting Team. *Troubleshoot various issues which may arise within the electronic billing module. *Plays a vital function in finalizing award set up data related to the billing module as well as Award Management. *Review and approve the work produced by the Sponsored Programs Accounting team. *Maintain a regular portfolio of awards to include billing and financial reporting. *Review and finalize multiple facets of award set up by both the Post Award team and Accounting team. *Review and approve activity as it relates to final close out of sponsored research projects. *Acts as liaison between Sponsor and Principal Investigator. *Assist in reconciliations as needed. *Provides financial administration and management for contracts and grant awards in accordance with campus policy and agency requirements. *Provides guidance to staff on sponsor's guidelines regarding financial reporting, invoicing and analysis including billing, preparing federal financial reports, analysis and reconciliation of revenue and expenditures, program income and cost share review and reporting, and award monitoring and compliance.
