The Center for Human Identification Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire additional Forensic Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Complete training and demonstrate competency in technologies and procedures utilized by UNTCHI. * Casework examination following all quality assurance policies, procedures and guidelines. * Evidence examination and documentation. * Serological screening of evidence. * DNA analysis procedures including DNA extraction, Quantification, Amplification and Capillary Electrophoresis. * Assist with genetic data analysis, interpretation of results, statistical calculations and report generation. * Assist with technical review and administrative review of forensic casework. * Provide expert witness testimony as required. * Maintain proficiency in DNA analysis methods and data interpretation. * Meet continuing education requirements and review current scientific literature.
