The Student Affairs Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Enrollment Services Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Establish, monitor, maintain, and oversee both the imaged and physical records of students and alumni. * Assist students, faculty and staff with information requests within all areas of the University. * Explains policy and procedures to students and other constituents/customers in order to advise them of potential solutions to problems. * Processes course fee documentation, new/update course forms and enters data into university system and online catalog. * Collaborates with Student Finance in testing student bills. * Maintains UNTHSC tuition/fee register. * Serves as primary Hazlewood Exemption Act and Veterans Affairs Certifying Official. * Prepares and maintains Veterans' Affairs/Hazlewood Act student files; keeps current and accurate records of schedules, transcripts, term account summaries, and degree plans; verifies enrollment and processes certifications through VA Once and Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) portal, provides data for VA and VA dependent student reporting and assists in the submission of the application to train Veterans to TVC. * Supports the Assistant Director of Enrollment and Records with processing students in the university system for extended education programs. * Ensures adherence to various federal, state and university regulations concerning student confidentiality and privacy of student education records. * Promotes diversity within the Office and supports existing University programs, and completes special assignments, tasks and projects as directed. * Supports the Office of Student Affairs by participating/presenting in various institutional functions and organizations as needed. (i.e. New Student Orientation, Discover MyHSC Day).
