The Chair of Family and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Departmental strategic planning and development * Clinical Care Leadership: in collaboration with the operational leadership of UNTHealth, the chair is responsible for the management of each clinical site that is assigned to the department * Academic Planning and Management * Staff Development: recruitment, retention, faculty performance and development * Curriculum and Teaching Program: guides the development, implem- entation, evaluation and improvement of all teaching programs of the department as assigned by the associate deans although specific activities are usually delegated to individual faculty * Faculty Research: responsible for the development and implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures that are supportive of research The University of North Texas System and its component institutions are committed to equal opportunity and comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding nondiscrimination and affirmative action.
