The Knowledge Management Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Business Intelligence Developer to join the team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Serves as a thought leader and strong communicator with senior leaders, sponsors, peers, and suppliers. * Improves business decisions across a broad range of KPIs. * Leads multiple, high impact data research and analysis projects; provides oversight and course corrections as required. * Partners and consults with senior business leaders to understand their business requirements; recommends/designs research and analysis to improve business performance. * Leverages big data to discover patterns and solve strategic & tactical analytic business problems using structured and unstructured data sets across several environments. * Develops analytic capabilities (e.g. models and processes) that drive better outcomes for both customers and the institution. * Work with ITS teams to drive the Power BI platform and work closely with UNTHSC customers to design and deliver usable, value-added information to help drive daily and strategic decisions. * Performs other duties as assigned.
