The UNTH Administration Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Administrative Associate to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as preparing routine correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. * Use computers for various applications, such as database management, word processing, and maintaining electronic medical records. * Answer telephones and transfer calls to appropriate individuals. * Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions. * Greet visitors or callers and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. * Complete forms in accordance with company procedures. * Make copies of correspondence or other printed material. * Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of information, internally or with other organizations. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Job Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
