UIT - Research Information Technology Services (RITS) Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Statistical Analyst Research Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Provides consultancy services to faculty, staff and students on leveraging current research computing and analytics capabilities accessible through Research IT Services. * Trains faculty, researchers and staff in the use of key data analysis software tools and methodology. * Collaborates with researchers to recommend the appropriate analytical approaches and statistical techniques to be used. * Advises, recommends, and collaborates on how to effectively collect, process, analyze, and store the data. * Responds to inquiries from researchers and determine where to redirect more complex inquiries. * Will develop appropriate high-performance computing (HPC) workflows, as appropriate for ongoing collaborative projects.
