The Department of Physiology and Anatomy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Research Associate to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Assist PI to study physiological and pathological relevance of Ca2+ channels in renal cells. * Investigate the implication of dysfunction of a specific Ca2+ signaling pathway in the development of diabetic kidney disease. * Manage the PI's lab. * Take purchase order. * Cell culture. * Keeping and updating lab inventories for chemicals, biological/molecular reagents/kits, and instruments. * Performing electrophysiological experiments. * Helping PI and other research fellows in the lab in animal studies. * Performing/helping other research fellows in assessment of renal function and histology.
