University of North Texas - Police Officer II

This position perform all duties normally associated with employment as a licensed police officer; including, preventive patrol, arrest, search & seizure, traffic enforcement, crash investigation, public safety and service, investigation of criminal incidents, and maintaining public order on the university campus and surrounding area. Work involves patrolling day and night all campus areas, buildings and parking lots. The UNT Dallas Police Department is responsible for providing law enforcement and security services for the University of North Texas at Dallas Main Campus and The College of Law. Police Officers must exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with violators of laws and University regulations. Police Officers may be required to work special assignments, special events or be on call.
