KNTU, located in the Media Arts Department at the University of North Texas, is seeking to hire a Non-Student Hourly to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Ensuring audio content is being transmitted on the network one (1) hour before the scheduled broadcast start time; and providing time checks at significant points during that hour to alert network affiliates of the time left before the start of the broadcast. * Ensuring the signal from the broadcast venue is coming in and is stable. * Mixing the play-by-play game site audio with any and all intro/outro recordings and commercials. * Using audio software (Adobe Audition or Burli) to record game segments for use in halftime and postgame highlight presentations. * Continuously updating a script with other college football scores and presenting those on-air when called for by the game site announcers or specific, scheduled stand-alone game broadcast segments.
