The Student Health & Wellness Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Non-Student Help - Hourly to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Performing diagnostic lab procedures, including CLIA-certified tests. * Clinical maintenance. * Assisting with supervision of clerk phlebotomists. The successful candidate will possess the following Bachelor's Degree in related field and three years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required: * Knowledge of the technological advances in laboratory equipment and proficiency in its care and upkeep. * Skill in the operation and care of medical/laboratory equipment. * Ability to supervise others. * Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed. Required: Current member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or acertified American Medical Technologist (AMT).
