The Facilities Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Energy Management System Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Plans, implements, and supervises the work of EMS Facilities Technicians to ensure that the total maintenance program is completed in a timely manner. * Inspects energy management systems equipment and recommends maintenance, repairs, and upgrades as needed. * Responsible for the hiring, performance evaluation, professional development, disciplinary, and separation processes for all EMS Technicians and student employees. * Develops scheduled reviews of energy management systems to ensure routine needs are being met and safety guidelines are being followed. * Works with contractors/vendors to make sure repairs are scheduled and completed accurately. * Monitor and assign work order requests in addition to following up on outstanding work orders, while also ensuring that all supplies and equipment are in stock, working properly, and invoiced correctly. * Quickly assesses and responds to inquiries and concerns regarding maintenance needs.
