The Financial System Support group at the University of North Texas System is seeking to hire an ERP Functional Analyst I to join our team. This position works under direct supervision to elicit requirements to identify a future state that addresses a business problem;assists for larger projects and performs testing for smaller projects. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Assists in maintaining communications with clients. * Liaisons between business users and technical teams to communicate requirements, test plans and appropriate project information. * Implements test plans; Under direct supervision Create and execute test plans that map to requirements. * Basic analysis of client issues to support solution. * Implement solution using pre-designed specification. * Generates Data Specifications Documents for ERP systems. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree with coursework in Business, Computer Science, or related field and 1 year of relevant experience in a related field. Will also accept 2 years of undergraduate work and 3 years of relevant experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: * Considerable knowledge of the methods and equipment used in fundamental business processing, including system analysis and process design, and computer data analyst techniques. * Strong skill in communication for educating others about computer applications. * Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions. * Ability to perform detailed work accurately. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. * Ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and effectively both verbally and in writing. * Knowledge of safe working procedures related to work performed. * Educate and enforce users on basic system function if module SME not available.
