The Child Development Laboratory Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Academic Professional / Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * To facilitate and supervise the successful functioning of half-day program for 3, 4 and 5 year old children within established guidelines set by the Child Development Laboratory Director using best practices established by the early childhood education profession. * Support and serve students in the College of Education's early childhood development courses. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Early Childhood, Child Development, Play Therapy, Child Psychology or other major related to children and adolescents; and one year of early childhood program teaching experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required: * Ability to write lesson plans and organize a preschool classroom. * Ability to work with children, parents and other stakeholders.
