The UNT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy (HSCCP) is inviting applications for an Assistant Professor - Internal Medicine faculty position in the Department of Pharmacotherapy. This individual will serve as a College of Pharmacy faculty member who will enhance the UNTHSC vision and mission, while making meaningful contributions to the profession of pharmacy and the community. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Faculty Responsibilities: * Works under the leadership of the Chair to deliver the PharmD curriculum for Professional Years 1 to 4 (PY1, PY2, PY3, PY4) as it relates to the pharmacy practice components of professional pharmacy education. * Works under the leadership of the Chair to continuously improve the PharmD curriculum for Professional Years 1 to 4 (PY1, PY2, PY3, PY4) as it relates to the pharmacy practice components of professional pharmacy education. * Contributes to a culture of scholarly excellence within the Department through research that ensures that the faculty member remains on the cutting edge of their chosen areas of research and scholarly activity relevant to the future of pharmacy. * Contributes to a culture of assessment within the Department and College that works in close cooperation with faculty of other Schools/Colleges at the HSC to provide interprofessional education that meets the needs of a diverse population of Texas for effective partnerships in health and therapy. * Contributes to service efforts that enhance the quality of pharmacy education and research in Texas and nationwide.
