The Department of Dance and Theatre at the University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Acting/Performance. We seek a dedicated scholar and innovative educator eager to work with a highly diverse student body. We seek a candidate with the ability to teach a range of courses in acting, someone capable of integrating voice and movement skills into the acting process, and a person with an awareness of current and emerging trends in the acting profession. The person will mentor and coach students within the performance area and direct departmental theatre productions, continue professional work nationally and/or internationally, direct departmental theatre productions, and participate in faculty governance and service to the department, college, and the university.
