Enrollment Systems at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Application Support Specialist to join our team. This position primarily provides support to Admissions related development of data reporting and the interfaces of external systems. Provides front line IT support for staff and coordinates resolution of IT related issues. This position edits and creates webpages and documentation for the Enrollment Systems Team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Provide support and training to departmental personnel on desktop programs and resources. Assist with security for Peoplesoft and other systems. Edit and assist with maintenance of website, security, design and content for web sites. * Develop and maintain forms (electronic, interactive and paper) and documentation used in business processes. * Provide training for Admissions team and users of Admissions-related processes throughout the institution. * Processing of data loads. The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree in related field and two years of work experience in computing, information systems, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required: * Proficient understanding of relational database, client-server concepts, and computer programming, and understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle. * Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel). * Certifications in supported technologies. * Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills. * Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization.
