The Materials Science & Engineer Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * This position will serve as support to the Administrative Coordinator and will be responsible for various routine and non-routine administrative support activities for departmental research. * This responsibility will include, but is not limited to: requisition and P-Card purchasing, distribution and tracking of purchased items, faculty and student travel, and other various duties in support of departmental faculty research activities. * The employee will plan and carry out assignments and resolve problems and deviations in accordance with instructions, policies, and accepted practices. The successful candidate will possess a Associate's degree and three years of moderately responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
