The Counseling & Testing Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for serving as Testing Administrator and handles all computer-based testing and clerical functions of the Testing Center. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Administers tests and manages test schedules. * Handles clerical operations of the center such as answering phones, email correspondence, filing, records maintenance, processing requisite forms for testing entities and other external organizations. * Inventory and restocking of test and office materials as well as office cleaning and organization. * Responsible for all aspects of staff and student employment management, including job postings, interviewing, hiring and firing, training, professional certifications, conducting information sessions and performance review of staff and student workers. * Maintains functionality of testing equipment, collecting and cultivating inter-office and university wide communication. * Provides support to the office/area and acts as a resource to assist in the resolution of various administrative matters. * Responsible for oversight of a budget (including reporting and forecasting), purchasing, travel, and may include website maintenance and property control functions * Assists with or may be responsible for various special projects in support of the department. * Responsible for the collection of data and its analysis, the preparation of materials for meeting and conferences, as well as provide assistance with the completion of reports. * Handles correspondence and calendar maintenance. * Identifies issues or problems and researches solutions within specific areas. The supervisor provides assignments by indicating general objectives, limitations, quality and quantity expected, deadlines and priorities.
