The Information Science Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Performs day-to-day budget and payroll transactions for the department. * Tracks/reconciles the departmental budget accounts for accuracy. * Works closely with the College budget officer and external departments on matters related to the department budget and personnel. * Completes job posting related tasks for new/vacant positions in the department, including responding to student queries regarding employment opportunities in the department. * Assists new employees in onboarding procedure, including I-9 verification, and issuance of graduate student employment verification's. * Manages adjuncts and teaching fellows hiring and payment. * Manages and processes various scholarships for the students in the department, including endowed scholarships, and coordinates payments with the scholarship office. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and three years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
