The Ryan College of Business-Acad Advising-U/G Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Academic Counselor to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Supporting the College by providing academic counseling, career counseling, referrals, and degree program advising to undergraduate business majors and prospective business majors in individual and group sessions. This includes involvement in implementation of programs designed to recruit new students, increase student retention, and participation in general degree advising activities as needed (preparation of degree plans, evaluation of transcripts, processing graduation applications, and public relations). The successful candidate will possess a Master's Degree and two years of experience in student affairs, student services, counseling, professional academic advising, or related experience.
