The Chef Partner monitors all the food that enters and leaves the kitchen, including prepping, cooking, plating and temperature. The Chef Partner trains the kitchen staff on how to properly cook and handle the food, they also schedule kitchen staff shifts, order food supplies and kitchen equipment, and inventory the food products. The Chef Partner must know the kitchen sanitation and safety regulations, have excellent organizational skills and conflict resolution skills. They must also be able to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment, and have the flexibility to work during evenings and weekends.
