AV Technician: Must have 1 to 2 years’ experience in corporate environment, responsible for support of day to day AV operations of a conference center. Strong technical, written and verbal communications skill set is essential. Applicant should have strong customer service skills and be able to effectively service the customer and have the ability to work occasional nights and weekends as the job demands. Cross-train as needed. Adhere to all set company, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Consult and assist clients with AV or VC needs
  • Work with VC bridge Operators
  • Set up fixed and portable AV equipment per event needs
  • Prepping and testing all presentation material prior to start of the event
  • Meet and greet clients at start of the event and provide instructions
  • Troubleshoot and assist as needed
  • Thorough understanding of audio/visual technologies to include:
    • Cisco TelePresence
    • DLP projectors
    • Cisco/Tandberg VC codecs
    • Content Sharing Software
    • Creston Control Systems
    • Audio Mixers
    • Video Switchers
    • Microsoft Lync & Skype
