Brand Marketing Manager, Carvel

(Atlanta, GA - Glenridge office)

 

The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for providing project management support related to the marketing plan including advertising, consumer and trade promotion, pricing, packaging, and sales support including competitive analysis, business analysis and category management.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree and/or two to three years marketing experience.
  • Quick service, multi-brand/franchise operations, hospitality industry and/or “treat" segment experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and creative ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to support advertising, promotion and media strategies, and marketing plans.
  • Successful experience in managing agencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to be flexible and effectively work with others as a team.
  • Ability to develop direct reports and build a high performing team.
  • Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated track record for flexibility and urgency in prioritizing and organizing projects.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, i.e. back office systems, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the development and execution of local store marketing and fundraising initiatives, including the structure, process, and content of materials.
  • Oversees the management of the National Advertising Fund to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of resources.
  • Oversees the coordination of production and fulfillment logistics for all stores/brands.
  • Develops and provides detailed analysis related to sales.
  • Assists in various Brand Marketing projects as directed by the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to ensure execution of new product launches and marketing calendar.
  • Drives various programs, and tactics for all marketing calendar events and all marketing mix elements beyond product, including pricing, packaging, and merchandising.
  • Acts as the primary marketing agency contact, by assisting the Vice President of Marketing with the conceptual and creative development process including briefing, creation, development, production, and fulfillment of marketing materials.
  • Identifies emerging business opportunities outside of new products, by uncovering insights into emerging trends in guests, the industry, venues, and markets, and translating this insight into strategic recommendations.
